Canangela Boyd-Robertson offers a unique blend of talents that make her a dynamic choice as a voice over artist and actress . She fostered a love for acting in her youth and sought representation from some of Atlanta’s notable talent agencies. She has graced the stage as a cast member in Treemonisha with Onyx Opera Company as well as productions with King Players including “Celebration In Black”, “The Life and Times of Martin Luther King, Jr, Images, Revolution and Visions.
She has been featured in Krystal’s “Krystal Chick” commercial as a “Krystal Chick”, and as an extra in commercials for Charter Hospital and K-Mart. Further, Canangela was selected as a featured model on the “Dark and Lovely” box with Carson products. In her youth, Canangela had extensive experience in the world of pageantry and was selected to represent as Miss T.E.E.N. Mississippi as well as Miss Morehouse College.
Canangela has received voice over training from esteemed David Price of DK Productions in Atlanta, GA. Canangela also boasts an extensive background in music education and performance with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from Spelman College and a Master’s Degree in Music Education with an emphasis in Piano Performance from the University of Rhode Island. Canangela is a classically trained vocalist and pianist who is also adept in other styles.
